Warren, know that your friends in New Roads love and have you and your family in our Prayers at your time of grief and sorrow.

JACQUELINE EDWARDS-SHEPPARD (08/03/2017 7:37 pm)

I PRAY THAT LOU'S FAMILY AND FRIENDS WOULD FIND COMFORT IN KNOWING THAT TO BE ABSENT FROM THE BODY IS TO BE PRESENCE WITH THE LORD, AND GOD SHALL WEAR EVERY TEAR AWAY.OUR LORD AND SAVIOR IS THE FATHER OF COMPASSION AND THE GOD OF ALL COMFORT. rip LOUBERTHA

I was truly saddened to learn of Lou's passing. I thought the world of her because she was, above all things, a genuine person. She was well-respected at all levels of the teaching profession. Talented, smart, creative, personable, and most popularly lovable; in all the time I've known her, I've known no one to express a cross or a negative word concerning her. In sharing an office with Lou and in teaching at the same grade level for a time, I was introduced to her beautiful family through stories that brought a lot of laughter and sometimes a few tears. Her family was her crowning glory here on Earth, and Drina, you were her crown jewel. Know that your steps and growth in becoming the beautiful young woman that you are, were watched by more people than you know, and that you have many champions all around you. I pray that God guides you and the family through this difficult time, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Lou Belezaire, you will hold a place in my heart that is filled with love, admiration and respect, and I will miss you greatly.

Our deepest and heart felt sympathy for your loss. John 14: 1 says: "Jesus said to his disciples, “Don’t be worried! Have faith in God and have faith in me." We send love and care. Look to Him who is able to do ALL for ALL. From the Vernice (Louvella Poullard) Green Family Lake Charles, LA Houston, TX Victorville, CA

My deepest sympathies to the Belezaire family. I am very sorry for your loss. I know that your family is mourning the loss of a dear loved one. This indeed is a very painful time. Please accept my sympathies. Rest assured that our loving God, Jehovah is certainly aware of how you're feeling. In His Word, the Bible, he promises to raise up our dear loved ones through the beautiful hope of a resurrection. (Acts 24:15) May "the God of comfort" give you the strength to get through the days ahead. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4)

I am deeply saddened to learn of Lou's passing. She was such a lovely person to work with--intelligent, kind, and a wonderful mentor to many a young teacher. It was my honor to work with her and my pleasure to see her every day at Sharon Hills. I have thought of her often, and I will miss her very much.

I sure enjoyed working alongside Lou at Sharon Hills Elementary. Not only was she an amazing teacher, but she was an amazing person, always holding herself and her students to the highest standards. I will always consider her one of my favorite coworkers. May God bless her and her family. May He comfort the family during this difficult time.

What an amazing woman, wife, mother, educator, and friend! It is impossible to express how much Lou has touched my life over the course of our careers together at Sharon Hills Elementary. I am truly honored to have known her. I will deeply miss her, but I rejoice in knowing that she is in Heaven, happy, healthy, and with our Savior, Jesus Christ. We will see her again in His time.
